Two-Component Spray-On Rapid-Curing Rubberized Asphalt Waterproof Coating consists of Component A (base agent) and Component B (coagulant aid). Component A is formulated by mixing anionic synthetic rubber emulsion, emulsified asphalt microemulsion produced via special technology, and various chemical additives. It forms a core-shell structure with rubber as the continuous phase and asphalt as the dispersed phase, featuring high solid content and low viscosity, which is suitable for spray construction. Component B is a coagulant aid, an aqueous solution of electrolytes such as metal salts prepared at a corresponding concentration.
Component A and Component B are respectively sprayed and atomized at high speed in a fan shape through two nozzles of airless spraying equipment. After cross-colliding, mixing and spraying onto the base surface, the base agent (Component A) breaks the charge stability of the polymer emulsion and emulsified asphalt under the action of the coagulant aid (Component B), leading to rapid demulsification, salting out of water, and instant coagulation into a polymer film.
The product is applied using special spraying equipment. At room temperature, the two components are respectively sprayed and atomized through pipelines via two nozzles, mixing at high speed. The material coagulates into a film instantly after being sprayed onto the base surface. This construction method offers high spraying efficiency, saves labor, shortens the construction period, and reduces construction costs.
